Education
At Know Foot Know Horse we have some excellent educators lined up from around the world to provide our members with an ongoing education. As farriers we realise that the most important thing for educating ourselves is to keep an open mind as there is always more than one way to do things. To get the best out of Know Foot Know Horse our members must use the site as another tool to help them improve and understand our craft. In no way do we believe that our movies should replace the traditional hands on live clinics and teaching seminars, but they can be used alongside as a teaching aid. There is no substitute for good practice.
Know Foot Know Horse can help our members become more efficient around both the horse and the anvil With an increased knowledge of the craft, comes an ability to problem solve, which increases our experience and benefits the equine population.
Our first batch of movies are based on the highly regarded British farrier educational system however we will be incorporating other international farrier organisations and associations training schemes. If any farrier associations would like to contact us about incorporating their training schemes feel free to do so.
Don't forget that you can request movies if you cannot find the information that you seek, or you can send your own information in to help educate others (go to ‘contact us'). For those who are not too confident in streaming material from the internet we have hard copies (DVD) of some of our educational movies, just go to our products page.
